Immensely passionate about poetry, Robert J. Bertholf, Ph. D. was the curator who presided over the glorious treasure trove at The Poetry/Rare Books Collection in the University Libraries at the University at Buffalo.

I love local history and I found a treasure trove of it at the Burchfield Penney Art Center! 

Every second Friday of the month, the Burchfield Penney Art Center opens the doors and pulls out all the stops, transforming the act of gallery-browsing into one of active participation with multiple sensorial sign posts.

The late Buffalo artist Jeanette Blair, whose landscapes and abstractions seemed to vibrate with the thrum of nature, will be remembered in a memorial service planned for 2 p.m. March 13 in the Burchfield Penney Art Center.

The Charles Burchfield Center was inaugurated on December 9, 1966 in Rockwell Hall at the State University College at Buffalo—and Nancy Jewett championed this budding museum since its earliest years.
