To Washingtonville by way of Millville – Washingtonville a masterpiece of caricature – buildings, houses, people & site even – (The “Corner grocery” and lovers “kidding” each other).

In bed & I used the time to work on my projected story of my early life – wrote many pages – I seemed wound up in fact –
One night it snowed softly & the trees were weighted with white; no wind stirred all day, & the next night it rained adding a coat of ice...
Yet it seems to me, if I could remember and put down my thoughts, I at least would have an interesting collection...
