Although I worked individually most of time, I never felt alone because lots of people are always prepared to come help me during my internship period. From that moment, I realized how everyone works together as team to form a better Buffalo State College and Burchfield Penney Art Center.

Ruth E. Lampe, a neighborhood leader and English teacher in Buffalo schools, died Saturday in Hospice Buffalo, Cheektowaga. She was 72.

I'm just returned from another week at the Burchfield Penney Art Center (BPAC) in Buffalo, NY. This was my second stay as part of my being Artist-In-Residence there for this next year.

Burchfield Penney 2015-16 artist-in-residence Philip Koch spoke to a packed audience of docents this morning that enjoyed his sense of humor, unique flair and creative perspective. “Art is a feeling stimulated by visual objects, shapes and color,” said Koch during his talk as part of ongoing education.

And yet, at the end of inexpensive 45-minute flight rests Buffalo. Where the Erie Canal meets the Great Lake it took its name from—this city is more than just a quick drive to Niagara Falls, it's home to world-class art museums and food ranging from Buffalo wings and beef on weck, to locally made toast variations.
