C. Arthur Burchfield, the son of painter Charles E. Burchfield, died Thursday in his Poughkeepsie home, exactly 46 years to the day after his father died. He was 83.

C. Arthur Burchfield (1929-2013), the son of the Charles and Bertha Burchfield, passed away at his home today in Poughkeepsie, NY exactly forty-six years to the day after his father’s death in 1967.
