A-Z An Historical Survey of Women Artists

In response to the lack of representation and recognition of women in the arts, Coni Minneci created a series of paintings, 2003-2006, to honor the history of women. From A to Z, 26 paintings are a tribute to some of those women. Disparity has long been the unfair position of women in the arts and society. Whether at 78% of wages paid to men (71% in the largest museum directors in the US) or the appalling difference in the representation of men and women in galleries and museums.
