An exhibition of photographs, paintings, drawings, and a ceramic work acquired during the past year included Buffalo Men "C" Company, a mixed media collage and acrylic painting by Larry Bell donated by the artist; three watercolors by John Copoulos donated by Dr. Stuart Katz including Self-portrait as Frida Kahlo with Pink Triangles, Self-portrait as Alice B. Toklas and Self-portrait as Barbara Pym; humorous photographs from Sixteen Studies for VEGETABLE LOCOMOTION created by Hollis Frampton with Marion Faller and donated by Faller; two contemplative mixed media paintings on wood by Dana Hatchett presented by the artist, courtesy of Art Dialogue Gallery; The Waterfront, a 1942 watercolor by Rixford Jennings donated by Sidney Jennings; a charcoal drawing by Martin Kruck entitled Roadkill, donated by Charles Rand Penney; paintings by James K. Y. Kuo presented by Mrs. Kuo; a porcelain vessel with gold and platinum chloride lusters by ceramicist Gail McCarthy given by the artist; The Waterfront in Buffalo, a 1946 watercolor by Martha Burchfield Richter donated by Harriet and Mortimer Spiller; and two chromogenic prints acquired at the recent Center for Exploration in Photographic Arts (CEPA) benefit auction by Jennifer Formica and John Pfahl.
Newly acquired archival materials were also displayed, as well as frames constructed and finished by Charles E. Burchfield.
