Each year, a Western New York artist is chosen to design the poster for the Allentown Art Festival, an outdoor summer art festival held in Buffalo. This exhibition included a selection of the posters that chronicled the festival’s history. With the recommendation of U.S. Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, The Library of Congress included the Allentown Art Festival in its “Local Legacies” program that highlighted significant examples of America’s cultural traditions and accepted the Festival’s archives.
