Poetic Fashions featured wearable artworks by eighth-grade students of English teacher Suzanne Diffine from Buffalo Public School’s Frederick Law Olmsted School #56. Assisted by poet Sherry Robbins from Just
Buffalo Literary Center and textile artist Ginny Lohr, the students created a wide range of colorful garments displaying the students’ poems based on issues of disguise, change and fear. Poetry-garments created by the children at Mt. Ararat were added to the display over the summer.
