The Odd Couple

This visual arts study explored the process of comparing and contrasting pairs and small groups of related works of art within a wide range of mediums and styles as exhibited at the Burchfield Penney Art Center. Teachers discussed intrinsic differences and similarities using various vantage points such as art principles, history, and cultural perspectives. The unit was studied at three different suburban Buffalo schools: Williamsville East High School, Depew Middle School, and Transit Middle School.
