Selected Recent Acquisitions, 2000

Selections from works donated in the last quarter of 2000 included works on paper, paintings, and photographs by Diane Bertolo, Charles E. Burchfield, Peter Byrne, Ellen Carey, Charles Clough, Jackie Felix, Biff Henrich, Steve Miller, Thor Eric Paulson, Walter A. Prochownik, Milton Rogovin, Ann Rosen, Peter Stephens, John Toth, and Patty Wallace were included in this exhibition. The generous patrons who gifted these works include Steven and Cecile Biltekoff, Dr. Edna M. Lindemann, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Parisi, Herbert F. Harvey, Gary Nickard and Patty Wallace, and the law firm, Hodgson Russ LLP. In addition, Poplar Trees by Charles E. Burchfield, on view in the Sisti Gallery, was donated by Charles Rand Penney as a gift in honor and in memory of John I. H. Baur, and selected sculpture, craft art, and designs were exhibited in the Rosen Gallery in April.
