This exhibition focuses on threee American social realists of the late 1920's and early 1930's --Ben Shahn, Raphael Soyer, and William Gropper. During the Depression, these artists presented commonly shared experiences of the urban poor and working class. More than 60 prints in the exhibition will explore the artistic and political commentary of the period. Lifting the Rose-Colored Glasses: Three Social Realists was organized by Blair-Murrah Exhibitions of Sibley, Missouri.
