Dennis M. Adams, both a novelist and private investigator, is one of two featured Book Club at The Center authors who will be joining us this December. Adam’s book MOTIVE or When do you need a Motive for Murder. Ask Joe Morgan will be showcased on Thursday, December 2, at 6:30 PM. Adams is a retired detective with the Buffalo, NY police department and Motive is his first crime novel. Although the book is a work of fiction, many of the incidents and events are based on real-life occurrences. In fact, the entire ensemble cast he calls the Coterie (retired cops, supervisors, and detectives, who meet weekly for camaraderie and to reminisce about ‘back in the day') is a conglomeration of character traits and personalities of command officers and detectives he has known.
Please join us for this fast-moving police procedural mystery filled with memorable characters we all can identify with. The many twists and turns will keep you turning pages; wanting to find out how it ends, but all the time not wanting it to end.
