Landscape paintings can radiate light from within. Participants will create a small gouache painting working from darks to lights on a black surface.
Linda Toomey is a painter who works in her Tri-Main building studio since 2001. Linda’s landscapes are about tranquility and peacefulness. As an artist, Linda wants to bring the viewer into a quiet world of solitude, reverence, and contemplation. Her work has won numerous awards and is collected locally and internationally.
Supplies:
Reference material with strong darks and lights
Brushes (and small brushes)
Gouache paints
The instructor will provide the painting surface, multimedia artboard/black gesso matboard
