ReSoundings : First Ward

Zak Ward (Son of the Sun) and Josh Mullin (Last Conservative) join up with guitarist  Kevin Sampson (Jealous Unknowns/Innocent Bystanders) on Keys/Acoustic guitar and Buffalo Music Association Hall of Fame member Jeff Schaller on drums to create a dynamic and powerful new sound.

ReSoundings at the Center is a newly established concert series at the Burchfield Penney Art Center. The series is designed to provide audiences an opportunity to witness a video recording session by emerging composers/musicians in a unique environment. The Burchfield Penney’s East Gallery, with its 28ft high ceilings, delivers a five and a half second reverb that will provide artist with a most intriguing challenge in the exploration of acoustic possibilities. In keeping with our mission, this series will focus on showcasing the highest quality composers/musicians from Western New York. Our challenge is programming musicians to confront and accept the unique aspects of our space.
