Empress & The Royals

Empress & the Royals is a Buffalo-based band specializing in original and cover music with flavors of soul, R&B, and funk. Last year The Empress released her debut album, Transitions, to rave reviews. The band is currently developing new original material for their next project.

The band consists of two core members Amina 'The Empress' Boyd and Greg 'GD Funk' Clark, alongside a range of Buffalo's most talented musicians including Carl 'Flute' Johnson, Rufus 'Breezy' Cole, Nathan McCrea, Mike Porter, Tone Cummings, Richii Valentino, Martin Schmidt, and others.
