Co-curated by Kahstoserakwathe Paulette Moore (Mohawk) and Terry J. Jones (Seneca), The firth annual Haudenosaunee Micro-Short Film Program, features an Indigenous curated and filmmaker compensated screening program of short films created by Haudenosaunee filmmakers from all over Turtle Island followed by a live filmmaker panel discussion and audience Q & A.
The Haudenosaunee Micro Short Film Program creates a safe space for Haudenosaunee filmmakers to represent their experiences as Indigenous People and media makers in an industry characterized by underrepresentation and marginalization.
The Haudenosaunee Micro-Short Film Program was created in collaboration between Spark Filmmakers Collaborative and Torn Jersey Media.
Funding is made possible through Arts Services Inc.’s Creative Impact Fund thanks to a New York State Senate Initiative supported by the NYS Legislature and the Office of the Governor, and administered by the New York State Council on the Arts.
