Burchfield Visionaries is a museum membership program of rising professionals interested in connecting with and amplifying the Buffalo arts community. On August M&T Second Friday, Burchfield Visionaries will lead an array of creative activities, from mini gallery tours to all-ages art-making. Visionary members from Buffalo Fashion House will be creating custom tote bags exclusively for the first 20 guests who sign up for the Burchfield Visionaries membership in person at August M&T Second Friday. The Burchfield Penney Art Center proudly announces the acquisition of the exceptional watercolor painting Retreat of Winter (1950-64) by renowned American artist Charles E. Burchfield (1893-1967). Diyené is a funk-soul-pop fusion band that has been garnering attention in the Buffalo music scene. Their distinctive sound is characterized by heartfelt lyrics and catchy hooks, delivered through powerful performances bursting with energy. Led by singer-songwriter Danielle A. the band features a varying cast of incredibly talented musicians. Their tagline, "Good Music Finds A Way," encapsulates their belief in music's ability to overcome barriers and unite people. This mantra has fueled their journey as a burgeoning band, guiding them through challenges and opportunities alike. They have frequented venues such as Jack Rabbit, Asbury Hall, Iron Works, Town Ballroom, and more.
