The Damone Jackson Outcome is an award winning Jazz Fusion group with a rotating cast of Buffalo's best musicians. Jackson is one of the areas most in-demand drummers for both live shows and studio work.
Recently, Jackson has been on tour in South America and Europe playing shows and teaching master-classes. He is thankful that music has provided the opportunity to play with many truly fine musicians in the Buffalo area as well and all over the world.

Documentary filmmaker Doug Ruffin and the Buffalo History Channel have created three new films about the history of artistic and creative excellence in Buffalo's Black communities.
These short films show rare footage of important moments in Buffalo's Black history: Arthur O. Eve's historic primary win in 1977, footage of the 2nd annual Juneteenth Celebration on Jefferson Avenue in 1978, and the Center for Positive Thought's African Art Museum in the 1970's. The Burchfield Penney is honored to premiere these films at our June M&T sponsored Second Fridays as part of the 2023 Sankofa Days.
