La Marimba

La Marimba: Tiffany Nicely, Ringo Brill, and Gabriel Gutierrez, perform original arrangements of traditional Mexican and Central American music for the marimba, "the wood that sings." This music is all about sweet melodies, dancing grooves, and inspired improvisation. Tiffany Nicely teaches World Music, African Music, and African Drumming at Buffalo State College. She has been performing traditional marimba music for twenty years, and has transcribed and arranged over 50 tunes.
