Applied Learning: Dance, Design and Community

Students for DAN 401 Teaching Dance and THA 335 Costume Design at Buffalo State have partnered with students from Lafayette High Schools 7th and 9th grade bridge program to create stories, movement and design inspired by the Burchfield Penney installation, Taking Tea.
In the East Gallery, with art as the backdrop, students will be presenting stories told through dance and design illustrating the power of collaboration across disciplines and the creativity born of a common goal.
