About the Book
This memoir by an eminent Cuban-American poet and professor recreates 40 years of personal and social history as it describes her flight from home and her search for identity in the United States. Olga Karman is a professor and administrator at D Youville College in Buffalo, New York, a city that has already begun to celebrate the publication of this intensely moving book.
