Vocalis, founded in 2001, is part of Western New York's thriving artistic community. This concert pays tribute to great choral works from the region. A diverse and entertaining mix of repertoire showcases the many talented composers from Buffalo and beyond including Peris Vehar, Roland Martin, Caroline Mallonee, Robert Patterson, Marty Wimmer and Cary Ratcliff.
Continuing its 10th Anniversary Season, Vocalis spotlights WNY compositions by: Roland Martin, Persis Vehar, Marty Wimmer, Caroline Mallonée, Cary Ratcliff, Rob Paterson, Dale Adelmann, and Michael Slon. These composers have diverse and enduring connections to Buffalo and WNY, and are proud representatives of the talent in our community. Please join us in a passionate celebration of their music.
Vocális Chamber Choir, a select ensemble of dedicated professionals based in Western New York, is committed to performing great a cappella music of all eras, and to cultivating an awareness of the art of choral singing. We strive to inspire, educate, and enlighten our audiences through an intimate and moving concert experience.
