Susie Kelly Flatau

Susie Kelly Flatau is an abstract painter born in Oklahoma and based in Orchard Park, N.Y. She works in acrylic and mixed media. Asked to describe her approach to art-making, she writes, "I follow a non-objective, intuitive process that comprises unpredictable, bold, and dramatic color and design. My works dance with a continuum of texture, depth, emotion, and movement. My process embraces adding, subtracting, and layering acrylic onto canvas." [1]
