Richard Ross brings over 30 years of experience as a professional illustrator/designer to the classroom. Prior to getting into teaching, Ross ran a full-time design/illustration business for eight years after working full-time in package design—with one of Manhattan’s formally best-known firms, Wallack & Harris—and book design.
His design work has been featured in Print magazine’s regional design annuals. His illustration work has appeared in numerous annuals for American Illustration, Graphis, and Society of Illustrators, among others. Ross’s illustration clients have included most major book publishers in America (and some in Europe), many newspapers, consumer and trade magazines, and some Fortune 500 companies.
