Polly King was a painter and sketcher with a special love of travel and water. Born in West Virginia, King moved to Niagara Falls where she painted and sketched through every decade until her death in 1993 at the age of 91. Trained at Carnegie Tech, the American Academy of Design and the Art Students League, she embraced many styles through her years, from classicism to impressionism to abstraction. Her work is represented in over 250 private collections including those of celebrities, and has been hung in the offices of Robert Kennedy and Mario Cuomo.
