Paper conservator Patricia D. Hamm has worked with the Burchfield Penney Art Center since 1987 in treating Charles E. Burchfield's works on paper in the collection. Ms. Hamm is a Fellow of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works and is the leading authority on Burchfield’s materials and techniques. She is also a practicing artist.
