Pat Pauly is an internationally recognized fiber artist, whose work is shown throughout the United States and Canada. A native of Williamsville, New York, Pat Pauly received her degree in art education from Buffalo State College. Pat’s professional work began in the early 1980s when she turned to fiber as a medium of choice. Quilt National 1983 cemented her love of working in contemporary fiber and untraditional surface design. Her pieces have been seen in Paducah, Quilts=Art=Quilts exhibitions, and numerous juried shows including the 1983, 2009, 2011, 2017 and 2019 Quilt National.
Along with curating and organizing exhibitions of contemporary fiber art, Pat teaches design, surface design, and is a frequent lecturer on the evolution of traditional quilts and contemporary fiber art throughout North America. Pat maintains a studio in Rochester, New York.
