Maria Pabico LaRotonda is a graphic designer and digital media artist based in Buffalo, N.Y. She holds a BFA in Visual Design Communications from Daemen College.
LaRotunda uses Photoshop to create surreal multi-layered digital collages incorporating her own photographs and found images. Her work has been shown widely throughout Western New York, including at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, 464 Gallery, Studio Hart, Western New York Book Arts Center, and Benjaman Gallery, as well as the LACDA Gallery in Los Angeles.
LaRotunda owns her own company, Robot Kitten Designs, creating book covers, brochures, logos, web designs, and other items for a variety of businesses. She has taught fine art and graphic/web design as an adjunct at Villa Maria College, Canisius College, and Buffalo State College. Her husband, Craig LaRotunda, is also a visual artist.
