Marc Tomko describes himself as a “psychonauticbricoleur” and an “omnimedia artist” whose “ideas may evolve into physical objects, virtual experience, installation environments, experimental soundscapes, or performative actions.” He often records every aspect of his life during a given period and then obsessively compiles, files, organizes, and exhibits the information he collects.
After a brief career in graphic design, he earned a BFA in T.I.M.E. (Technology Integrated Media Environment) from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and an MFA in Visual Studies from the University at Buffalo. He teaches at the Cleveland Institute.
