Ceramic artist Jeff Kell has a B.S. from West Chester (PA) University and an M.F.A. from RIT’s School for American Crafts. His work provides humorous commentary on political, psychological, and social issues of his time. He has been featured in exhibitions and collections around the country, including the Memorial Art Gallery (Rochester, NY), the San Angelo (TX) Museum of Fine Arts, the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center (Auburn, NY), the Sidney Swidler Colelction (Detroit, MI), and the Crocker Art Museum (Sacramento, CA), along with the 2013 Art in Craft Media group exhibition at the Burchfield Penney. Kell currently collaborates with industry to design distinctive consumer products for such companies as Dansk, Corningware, and Corelle. He has also taught assorted design and ceramics classes at RIT, SUNY Geneseo, Wells College (Aurora, NY) and Houghton (NY) College. [1]
