Originally form Buffalo, NY, Jeanne graduated from the state College with a B.S. degree in Art Education and moved to Boston shortly after. She taught art in New York and Massachusetts public schools. After attending Mass College of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, she became a member of Kaji Aso Studio. Her work is represented by the Gallery at Kaji Aso Studio Institute for the Arts. She serves there as Trustee and is also Ceramic Chair and instructor.

Gugino also serves as an instructor of pastel and watercolor for Newton Community Education, and an instructor of watercolor and experiemental pastel at New Art Center. She is the President of the Newton Art Association as well as the Program Chair.

Exhibitions include: Italy (Siena, Padua,Venice); Japan (Shinjuku, Tokyo; UK, London (The Queen’s Gallery); colleges, galleries and other venues in New York, Florida, and Massachusetts.
