Isaac Soyer was hired by Philip C. Elliott in 1941 to teach at the Albright Art School (1941-1944), which eventually became the art department at the University of Buffalo. In addition, he taught during that time at the Art Institute of Buffalo. (Charles E. Burchfield was among the faculty in 1949, 1951, and 1952.)
