Dana Saylor is an artist, historian, event planner and preservation advocate. Her work involves a range of efforts to honor and revitalize important places in the community and facilitate positive community change. Utilizing her knowledge of art, preservation and urbanism, Saylor provides creative consulting, trainings and talks surrounding historical research, preservation, and creative event management. She has also organized events throughout the community.
As an artist, Saylor draws and paints local architecture, and offers custom artwork services, drawing and painting lessons to clients. She is currently working with the 2020 census to raise awareness on the importance of participation as a means to recognize and subsequently fight inequality throughout the region.
