Beverly Pepper is a world renowned artist focusing in sculpture. Beverly is known for her site-specific projects, land art, sculpture, and installations across the world. She was commissioned by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Administration (NFTA) in 1883 to create a site-specific sculpture for the South Campus Station at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Vertical Presence–Grass Dunes is fused steel, bent grass and blue fescue grass, 62 feet high x 150-foot diameter, installed on the exterior bus loop.
