Angela Guest is a fabric artist based in Mississauga, Ontario, but recently transplanted from Buffalo, NY. It was in Buffalo that Guest began to focus on making felt and paracord clouds that were saturated with color and paint, and abstract works made from stitched together fabric scraps and found materials. Guest is most grateful to institutions such as The Crucible Arts Collective for two solo exhibitions when she was still very much a developing artist, and Hunt Gallery for including her in their residency program's fourth cohort and subsequent group show "Double Take". Guest has had group showings at Buffalo Arts Studio, Main Street Arts in Clifton Springs, NY, where she was also an artist resident in 2018, and the Burchfield Penney Art Center through Stitch Buffalo's "Social Justice Stitched Stories" series in 2022. As of 2025, she is happily preoccupied with balancing and integrating her new role as a mother with her artistic practice.
