Clive Mensah, 20, was tasered by police on November 20, 2019 in Mississauga, Ontario. He was from Mississauga. He loved traveling and visiting his parents’ home country of Ghana. He liked to play basketball and practice music. Mensah worked at a grocery store.

Finan H. Berhe, 30, was shot by police on May 7, 2020 in Silver Springs, Maryland. He was from the White Oak suburb of Silver Spring. He was very involved with the Eritrean community which is prominent in Maryland.

Sean Reed, 21, was shot by police on May 6, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was from Indianapolis. He enjoyed spending time with his family, including his mother, father, and older brother. Reed was a former US Army soldier.

Yassin Mohamed, 47, was shot by police on May 9, 2020 in Evans County, Georgia. He was living in Evans County. Mohamed was originally from Sudan and he kept strong cultural ties to his birth country.

William Green, 43, was shot by police on January 27, 2020 in George’s County, Maryland. He was born and raised in George’s County. He worked as a Megabus luggage loader and had just been given a promotion. Green is survived by his fiancé and her son.

Deon Kay, 18, was shot by police on September 2, 2020 in Washington, DC. He was from Washington, D.C. He was extremely close with his younger brother and was preparing to take his GED test. His teachers described him as a natural born leader.
