Terrance Franklin, 22, was shot by police on May 10, 2013 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was from Minneapolis. He lived with his mother and father and enjoyed spending time and mentoring his siblings. Franklin loved to sing and rap and often made YouTube videos of his music.
A.J. Crooms, 16, was shot by police on November 13, 2020 in Cocoa, Florida. He was born and raised in Cocoa. He and Sincere Pierce were on their way to hang out with a friend for his birthday. He was a student at Cocoa High School and was very close with his family, especially his mother.
Daniel Prude, 41, died after being restrained by police on March 30, 2020 in Rochester, New York. He was born in Chicago, Illinois then settled in Rochester. He was very close with his family and had been working in a warehouse.
Sheila Abdus-Salaam, was found dead in the Hudson River on April 12, 2017 in Manhattan, New York. Her death was later ruled a suicide. She was born in Washington D.C. and worked in New York City. She attended law school at Columbia. Abdus-Salaam was the first black woman to be appointed to the New York State Court of Appeals.
