Jonathan Price, 31, was shot by police on October 3, 2020 in Wolfe City, Texas. He was born and raised in Wolfe City. He worked as an employee for the city as well as a personal trainer. His friends and family described him as a pillar of the community because he was always helping others.
Carl DorseyIII, 39, was shot by police on January 1, 2021 in Newark, New Jersey. He was a father from South Orange, New Jersey. His family and friends said he was an upbeat and compassionate person. He enjoyed attending car shows and catching up with old friends.
Casey Goodson Jr., 23, was shot by police on December 4, 2020 in Franklin County, Ohio. He was a valued member of the community of Franklin County. He was described as a good son by all who knew him and loved spending time with his mother and grandmother.
Sincere Pierce, 18, was shot by police on November 13, 2020 in Cocoa, Florida. He was from Cocoa. He and A.J. Crooms were on their way to hang out with a friend for his birthday. Pierce was applying for college at the time and was very close with his adoptive mother.
Antwon Rose Jr., 17, was shot by police on June 19, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He was an honor student who took advanced placement classes, played basketball, and saxophone. In his free time, Rose coached children in after-school classes at the Pittsburgh Gymnastics Club.
Xzavier Hill, 18, was shot by police on January 9, 2021 in Goochland County, Virginia. He had just graduated from high school. He worked as a lifeguard and played on his high school’s football team. Hill also often helped his mother out with the cleaning business that she owned.
George Floyd, 46, died after being restrained by police on May 25, 2020 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a father originally from Houston, Texas, but later settled in Minneapolis. He played football and basketball in school and went to college with an athletic scholarship. Floyd worked as a bouncer and enjoyed volunteering at his church.
Sandra Bland, 28, was found hanged in jailcell on July 13, 2015 in Walter County, Texas. Her death was ruled a suicide. She was an activist from Walter County. She was about to start a new job at Prairie View A&M University. She had four sisters and visited her family often.
