Gary Wolfe wrote: The band in the painting is called The Observers.  They played in front of the College Street Gallery on the last evening it was open at its 244 Allen Street location, August 1, 2014.

From left to right the musicians are as follows:

• Josh Gage - Ukulele, Guitar and Vocals
• Tyler Westcott - Banjo, Guitar and Vocals
• Jeannine Giffear - Flute and Vocals
• Allen Greystone - Guitar, Harmonica and Vocals
• Benjamin Perrello - Mandolin, Guitar and Vocals
• Dan Schwach - Percussion, Washboard and Vocals
