Inscribed in pencil: “Hello Arthur, is it cool in Cleveland? How I wish I was on the lake. We are having a hot time down here in Salem O. I am busy [at] the store half the week and the other half I have to myself which is pretty nice I think. Did you ever know Percy Tolerton? He’s married — just graduated. If you are in Youngstown when you get this I hope you had a good time in Cleveland; if in Cleveland, I hope you are having a good time. Your Friend C. B.”
