"My work, Birkett Mills, Penn Yan, NY., captured my imagination with its clean lines, vastness, its brilliant color, and geometric strength. The sky was a solid blue, offsetting the bright whiteness of the grain mills. The trees in the foreground provide a suggestion of softness in contrast to the stark forms behind them.  This 'screen' also adds a measure of depth to the image." -Ruth Mohn
