oil on linen
Porter writes of his oil painting Allison’s Decision that it "is a focus on the beautiful form of the human body and the psychological journey of the subject. We immediately see the nude and spend time on the form but slowly, we can slip into the process of thought and wonder of the subjects gaze and concentration. Asking our own questions about that journey or decision that is a daily human occurrence. The work is about the viewer as voyeur and observer. Each participant having an internal discussion about the window into which they look. My intense study of anatomy and passion for analyzing form is the foundation of all my work."(Porter)
