"A smoke screen, so many issues are the perfect political fodder, an emotionally raw bomb thrown at the populace which keeps us running in fear and feeding off of hate. It’s always easy to point fingers condemning of others. We all suffer when the choice is taken to minimize segments of our society. Policy options, # A. 6112 is a compare and contrast of the current political attacks upon women’s health in our country. The title gives the bill # for the New York State Reproductive Health Act, which if passed would codify the legal protections currently afforded by Roe v. Wade into New York State law, strengthening the foundation for reproductive freedom and ensuring that woman’s health remains paramount. The contrasting silhouette is a transvaginal ultra sound wand, hidden unless looked upon in the right light. It depicts the current policies which have been passed that infringe upon women’s right to adequate healthcare. " -Lily L. Booth
