John Mielcarek (1923-2015)

Mielcarek writes of his artwork Stairway to Nowhere, that "it's a drawing that was inspired by an earlier sketch of an old building in the Southern Tier. The building looked like it had gone through several owners, incorporating different owners becoming run down and eventually leading to Nowhere."( Mielcarek)
