Margie Hughto

Fan with Vanadium Stripes, from Margie Hughto’s signature series of ceramic fans, is important for its history. It was illustrated on the exhibition catalog cover of Margie Hughto, Clay and Paper Works 1978-1979. The exhibition was organized by the Nina Freudenheim Gallery, 560 Franklin Street, Buffalo, NY, September 22-October 19, 1979; and traveled to the James Yaw Gallery, 550 North Woodward Avenue, Birmingham, Michigan, October 12 (sic) -November 14, 1979.
