Oil on canvas, textiles, acrylic paint, crocheted yarn, balloons
48” x 72”
"This new installation builds on the previously installed Elephant Ears, where the original cylindrical, interactive installation is broken into two panels, hung in a manner that viewers can see both sides while being suspended from higher up. I am incorporating my present artistic practice exploring mark-making techniques on fabric that will be sewn into large gastrointestinal shapes. These pieces will weave and interact with the original two canvas panels. The original crochet pieces will hang in the space interacting with other elements as well." — Emma Stanton
