…”pink states “pink”? For these pink interfaces indicate (point to) anything beyond themselves? Do they represent some “pink-in-general” or are they simply presentations of specific pink states?
How does can one properly signify, beyond outside of language, the film shutter and the function of the shutter? In watching a film projection we are not aware of the shutter’s metric inflections (unless the projector is slowed down below 16 fps). When the projector is stopped we can remove from at its shutter and draw it, make an impression of it into wax, photograph it, etc and we can call these representations of that shutter (and of shutters-in-general—although other types/shapes of shutters exist or could exist).
What if we wish to make a representation of the shutter functioning? We notice, in looking at the shutter moving at its typical 24 rotations per second that we do not see it’s…
