The interlock occurs spatially, only in the drawing (another system layer is necessary to coordinate the temporal interlock-overlay of the film’s two gradually intersecting planes). The pink interlock of the drawing is a vertical shape; the film’s pink interlock occurring in the middle of the film’s duration, is a horizontal shape-both shapes have the same proportion.
