Paul Sharits (1943-1993)

I am anxious to do the work soon and ^to be able to screen it in 1976 would, ^I believe, increase its social relevance. (A more personal reason for wishing to do it in 1976, my 33^rd years of age, is that Jefferson was ^also 33 when he wrote it, 100 years ago). But it is a complex project to do this work properly—the only way it should be done—calls for expenditures of time and costs beyond my means. For this reason I am applying for funds to ^afford me the opportunity to take ½ year  of leave/absence to cover living expenses off from my teaching. And ^basic production costs; the accompanying budget statement concisely enumerates these expenses.
