Dear Ms. Haspiel,

Enclosed is my proposal for a Bicentennial film project and a resume of my experience in filmmaking. Although the proposed subject is not, strictly speaking, New York State culture, its theme is, I believe, very appropriate for the Bicentennial. My understanding is that proposals endorsed by the New York State Council will be sent on to the National Endowment for the Arts, for their consideration.

I can personally arrange for you screenings of my prior film works of screenings can be arranged through Anthology Film Archives, Castelli-Sonnabend Tapes and Films and/or the New York Filmmakers Cooperative.
